The Municipal Theatre of Piraeus is a neoclassical building that was built according to the plans of the architect Ioannis Lazarimou and was inaugurated on 9 April 1895. The theatre has a capacity of 600 seats and is located in the most central part of the city of Piraeus.

It is located in the northeast of the Piraeus peninsula bordering the district of Neo Faliro. Today, due to cafes and nightclubs has given impetus to the intensification of nightlife.
